We are looking for candidates who will foster relationships with our students and use those relationships as a means for discipleship and sharing the gospel. Morning Star Academy is a classical Christian school with approximately 256 students from Pre-K through 12th Grade.

Accountant - The accountant is responsible for the management and control of Morning Star Academy’s accounting functions. He or she will perform various tasks in support of the school’s accounting system that requires the understanding/regular use of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and decision making based upon knowledge concerning accounting concepts, methods and procedures.
Humanities Teacher - We are currently seeking an Upper School Humanities Teacher to teach both Logic and Rhetoric students. The subjects to be taught are writing, grammar, literature, vocabulary, and spelling. The ideal candidate will be familiar with classical, Christian education and the nuances of how classical Christian education impacts the classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessary.
Upper School Mathematics Teacher - Morning Star Academy is seeking a full-time math teacher for our upper school. This person will be responsible for teaching Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Algebra 2 for grades 7-11. The ideal candidate will be familiar with classical Christian education and the nuances of how classical Christian education impacts the classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessary.
Upper School Science Teacher - We are currently seeking an Upper School Science Teacher to teach both Logic and Rhetoric students. Our Logic students discover the glory of God within Physical Science and Earth Science. Our Rhetoric students continue to discover that glory through Biology, Chemistry and Anatomy and Physiology. The ideal candidate will be familiar with classical, Christian education and the nuances of how classical Christian education impacts the classroom. A teaching certificate is not necessary.
Pre-3 Teacher - Morning Star Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-3 Instructor for Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 4-5 hours per day. The teacher will prepare Lesson Plans to carry out the preschool program, while helping students to learn attitudes, skills, and subject matter that is age appropriate. They will communicate well with parents and provide Progress Reports and Conferences to demonstrate the child’s development. A College Degree is required, ideally in Early or Elementary Education, and previous experience is preferred. This position requires training before and during the school year. There is an opportunity for future responsibilities within the preschool program. This position can be combined with the Preschool Aide position.
Preschool Aide - Morning Star Academy is looking for a dedicated Preschool Aide for Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 3.5 hours per day. The aide will assist the teacher in all areas of the program and be willing to learn the processes and procedures of the class. They will demonstrate punctuality, patience and kindness and will spend the day helping the children in a hands-on approach. This position requires training before and during the school year. There is an opportunity for future responsibilities within the preschool program. This position can be combined with the Pre-3 Teacher position.
Spanish Teacher - This is a part-time position where the Spanish teacher will oversee and teach the Upper School language courses (Spanish I, II and III) so that each participating student achieves a higher level of ability to communicate in Spanish, gain knowledge and understanding of the Spanish culture, connect with other disciplines within the Upper School as those disciplines pertain to Spanish, develop insight into the nature of language and culture, participate in multilingual communities at home and possibly around the world with the aim that the students might better love their non-English speaking neighbors.
The Spanish teacher shall be a college graduate with training in and proven capability to teach Spanish.
